Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893): Thème original et variations, Op. 19/6 - Sergei Rachmaninov (1873-1943): Variations on a Theme of Chopin, Op. 22 - Robert Schumann (1810-1856): Symphonic Studies, Op. 13. Recorded at the Verbier Festival (Switzerland). Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov, born in 1991 in Nizhny Novgorod, has won numerous major music competitions. At the age of 20, Trivonov began his international career, which led him regularly to the major international music centers. In addition to the Artur Rubinstein Piano Competition in Tel Aviv, he also won the Moscow Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011. Trifonov is one of the most successful pianists of our time.
